Recycled and Upcycled Art Camp

During this 3 day camp we will explore the possibilities of utilizing the objects around us for art creations. Items that would normally be put into the landfill, recycling, or donations, and transform them into masterpieces. We will be discussing the importance of conservation, resourcefulness, and being mindful of the impact we make on the world around us. A variety of materials, mediums, and techniques will be utilized during this camp.

Camp will be held in our outdoor studio in a canopy tent at 2903 SW Cambridge St. As always, we recommend that campers dress in art friendly clothing. Splatter art is difficult to contain! Please send your young artist with a water bottle and snack/lunch. This camp is for school aged children and children entering Kindergarten in the fall.
